We take care of our customers

Frames – limited lifetime

We warrant that frames will be free from defects in workmanship and material for the lifetime of the product. Decorative exposed wooden trim, including wooden legs, is not covered by this warranty.

Seat cushion cores – limited lifetime

Seat cushion cores are warranted against defects in workmanship, materials and construction for a limited lifetime. Failure to follow standard care procedures voids this warranty. Cushion softening due to normal fibre compression is not covered. Deep cushions will compress by up to 1" (25 mm) within the first year of use; this is a characteristic, not a quality defect.

Motion mechanisms – limited lifetime

Motion mechanisms, including those in swivel chairs, swivel rockers, desk chairs and recliners, are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a limited lifetime. Leggett & Platt "Power Series" mechanisms and motors in motorised recliners carry a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Springs – 5 years

Spring systems are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material for five years. Removing springs from their original upholstered frame voids this warranty, unless done with our prior consent.

Sleeper mattresses – 5 years

Sleeper sofa mattresses are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for five years. If a defect appears during the first year, the mattress will be repaired or replaced at our discretion and cost. From the second to the fifth year, it will be repaired or replaced at our discretion and cost, less an amount for the purchaser's use equal to 1/60 of the retail price for each month or part month since the purchase date. Creasing from folding is not covered.

Sleeper mechanisms – 3 years

All mechanical parts in our sleeper sofas carry a three-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Fabrics – 1 year

Our fabrics are warranted against manufacturing defects, seam slippage, fraying and dye transfer for one year. Damage from improper use or care, abuse, negligence or improper cleaning methods is not covered. Any retailer- or consumer-applied stain protection treatment voids this warranty. Shrinking, pilling, fading and heavy soiling are considered evidence of mistreatment and void the limited warranty.

Leather – 100% genuine leather certificate of authenticity

When we say 100% leather, we are prepared to issue a certificate of authenticity. 100% leather will remain 100% leather for life. Upholstery leathers are warranted against manufacturing defects, seam slippage and splitting for one year. Variations in colour, grain, texture, hair-follicle patterns, healed scars, brands and neck growth marks are inherent in leather and are not quality defects. Improper use or care, accidents, fading or colour change from sunlight, body oils or perspiration are not covered.
